Albert Pier Housing

The Construction of 153 affordable housing units on land adjacent to Albert Pier began in October 2000 to provide 75 social rented apartments and 78 first time buyer apartments with associated basement parking and landscaped courtyards for residents.

The design of the buildings was selected following a local architecural competition which was won by local architects, Nigel Biggar & Partners. The construction was undertaken as a joint venture by local firm Camerons who teamed up with a major French construction firm Spie Batignolles.

The Jersey Homes Trust manage the rental apartments and the States of Jersey Housing Committee nominated purchasers for the 'first time buyers' apartments.
