Liberation Station

In 1995 the States decided that part of the Island site should be developed as a bus station, freeing up the Weighbridge area for regeneration.

The new bus station provides an internal concourse for waiting paasengers, a vast improvement to the days of waiting for a bus at the Weighbridge in the wind and rain!

The Company's selected development partner, Island Developments Limited, commenced development of the site in 2005 with completion of the new transportation centre (Liberation Station) in October 2007.
