Roads & Promenades

Promenades

The Company funded the Promeandes that border the Elizabeth marin and link the marina to La Frégate.

Phase 1 of the promenades started in March 1997 with completion in August 1997. This gave the public access around the West of Albert Pier site for the first time.

Roads and Infrastructure

The first phase of the roads anf infrastructure programme commenced in June 1997.

The Company funded the consruction of La Route du Port Elizabeth, La Rue de l'Etau, La Rue de Carteret and all the associated pavements and landscaping.

The Company continues to fund the maintenance and repairs of these roads, footpaths and landscaped areas, (with the exception of the carriageway of La Route du Port Elizabeth).
