JDC Sponsor 'Child of the Year' at Pride of Jersey Awards 2016

We are delighted to sponsor the ‘Child of the Year’ award at the forthcoming Jersey Evening Post (JEP) Pride of Jersey Awards 2016.

The awards ceremony will take place at Government House on Sunday 11th September. These awards give us an opportunity to celebrate remarkable individuals who have gone beyond all expectations and have helped to enhance the lives of others around them.

The JEP will be asking their audience over the next few months to nominate those people that they feel are most worthy of being considered for one of the 12 awards.

As we are investing for future generations, our purpose is to ensure we are supporting economic stability and growth for the benefit of all islanders and in particular our children’s future and prosperity, ensuring they can live in a happy, stable environment. This is why we are delighted to sponsor the ‘Child of the Year’ award.

For this year’s winner, we are looking for a child or teenager under the age of 17 who has gone beyond all expectations and proved themselves to be exceptional. The 2016 Child of the Year may have raised money for a good cause, or helped to improve the lives of those around them within their community. Perhaps a determined entrepreneur, someone who has a positive approach to life, or an aspiring and well-balanced individual who has a selfless attitude.

Nominations can be made by filling out one of the forms which will be regularly printed in the JEP or by visiting between 23rd May and 25th June 2016.
